Travel Information

The old university town of Marburg is easily reached by car or by train.The distance to bigger cities like Francfort or Kassel is 90 km each.

By car:

Coming from Francfort in the south, you take Motorway A5 (Autobahn, abbreviated: A), direction Marburg. From Kassel in the north, take A49.

From Cologne and Dortmund in the west, follow A45 till Dillenburg, then Bundesstraße B255 to Marburg. Travel time approximately 1 hour from Francfort and Kassel, respectively.

By train:

From Francfort or Kassel you can catch express trains. Travel time about 1 hour. From Marburg Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) take a taxi or city-bus number 1 to the hotel. In the vicinity, there is Marburg South Station (Südbahnhof).

By plain:

Francfort Airport has a railway station of its own. You will be in Marburg in about 90 minutes. By car, you need 90 minutes as well.
